Terms and Conditions – Platinum Car Rent Dubai

Welcome to Platinum Car Rent, your trusted luxury car rental partner in Dubai, UAE. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before proceeding with your booking. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Rental Duration and Timing Policy

  • All rentals are calculated on a 24-hour basis.

  • For example, if you pick up a vehicle on 26th June at 3:00 PM, your rental day ends on 27th June at 2:59 PM.

  • Any delay beyond the 24-hour window will result in an additional day’s charge. No partial day billing applies.

2. No Security Deposit Required

At Platinum Car Rent, we believe in a hassle-free rental experience. That’s why we do not require any security deposit. However, customers are liable for any damages, traffic violations, or misuse of the vehicle as per our usage policy.

3. Booking Confirmation and Cancellations

  • Platinum Car Rent reserves the right to cancel any booking at its sole discretion due to unforeseen circumstances or vehicle unavailability.

  • Customers will be notified promptly, and alternate options may be offered where possible.

  • Cancellations initiated by the customer should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to avoid penalties.

4. Driver Eligibility

To rent a vehicle, the driver must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for most vehicles (25+ for premium and high-performance cars).

  • Hold a valid UAE driving license (for residents), or a valid international driving permit (IDP) along with a home country license (for tourists).

  • Tourists from GCC, EU, UK, USA, Canada, and select countries may drive using their home country license directly (check with our staff for eligibility).

5. Vehicle Usage Policy

  • Vehicles must be driven within UAE borders unless prior written permission is obtained.

  • Off-roading, racing, drifting, or misuse of the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

  • The customer is responsible for all traffic fines, Salik (toll charges), parking tickets, and damage incurred during the rental period.

  • Smoking and carrying pets inside the vehicle is not allowed. Cleaning fees may apply.

6. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are delivered with a full or partially filled tank and must be returned at the same level.

  • Refueling charges may apply if not returned as received.

7. Insurance Coverage

  • All vehicles come with standard insurance as per UAE law.

  • In case of an accident, a valid police report is mandatory to claim insurance coverage.

  • Without a police report, the customer is liable for full repair costs.
